Re: Not sure if this is correct

I have seen a few sporterized Krags with Mannlicher stocks. That could be what crappiecatcher has. Pictures would confirm.

I'm not a big fan of the Mannlicher style but they are unique.

Please try to get some pictures so we can help further. Thanks.

Re: How do we connect to old posts?

Thanks for your suggestions, Fred. I have tried to search and come up with nothing. These links and other suggestions don't work for me. I'm dense and not real saavy with these things. I had the old system down solid and things have changed too much for me. It's not that important. I've got other th...

Re: How do we connect to old posts?

I switched .org to .com and I got a blank screen. Can you copy your post that worked in your reply? Thanks, Fred.

I don't understand what Josh's post says. I can't get to this old post to copy anything.

How do we connect to old posts?

I wanted to post the link to an older KCA thread where we discussed, and I was compiling a list of, authentic M1898 carbines that is for the post that Snowstorm started today. But, the link does not take me to the old post thread. It connects to the alert about the KCA site being in maintenance mode...

Re: Real ‘98 carbine?

But it's an "excellent quality Collector's firearm"!

I agree- too many negatives. I might have paid $600-700 if it was wearing a real M1896 rear sight, though!

Keep looking. They are out there but may take a while to find. It's worth the search and lots of fun to boot.

Re: Need Advice on Rifle and Pricing

Nice later Krag with a great cartouche. Great condition, great bore and shoots well! What more could you want in a Krag?

Thanks for sharing.

Re: No Country for Old Men

My wife and I are pissed at almost all of the doctors in this country who have refused to stand up and voice their disapproval of how this Covid "Hoax Flu" crap has been handled. That's because, unfortunately, almost all physicians have been forced by the govt and insurance companies to join big cli...

Re: California Effect

Sad to hear but it's nice to get away and enjoy some peace. My wife and I just got back from a gloriously stress-free vacation in Ohio's Amish country with a stay at an Amish Bed & Breakfast. We canceled our annual trip to Ocean City Maryland because of the "peaceful protests" that were occurring al...

Re: "Bucket List" Book

Everyone's interpretation of historical events and personal experiences are different. I would love to read another collection of stories, historical events and even a delving into how Bubba has treated the Krag over the past 100 years! But don't forget lots of pictures. There are many different roa...
